Clash detection and resolution are critical in MEP BIM services for ensuring the smooth integration of building systems within a building. In a large commercial project, I recently worked on we used Autodesk Revit and Navisworks to identify conflicts between the HVAC ducts and structural elements. Early detection helped allowed us to ask structural engineers and adjust the design before construction. This resolution helped us in minimizing rework and delays. This led to a successful installation process and project outcomes.
