We are using revit 2020 for a new project. When we load valves or components from manufactures like pipe valves, tees and the like we are having problems. Most of the time a valve will not self size when going from a 1" pipe to a 2" pipe. Revit recognizes that the fitting needs a reducer to make the connection work but will not size the valve correctly. Any Ideas what might be going on?

@jeffmaendl To resolve the issue of valves not self-sizing in Revit when transitioning from one pipe size to another, try checking the manufacturer's Revit family parameters, using the "Sizing" tool in Revit, adjusting the pipe system settings, or using different families.

seems like that is a problem with the families. i'm not sure, just an idea
