bimstore Technical Director Kris Atkinson features in Hamworthy Heating’s Spring issue of ‘Boiling Point’
As you may know, we are very proud of our relationships with our manufacturers so when Hamworthy Heating, recently asked us if bimstore would contribute to their magazine, Boiling Point we jumped at the chance!
Published twice a year, Boiling Point magazine is jammed packed with hot industry news, interviews, product updates, feature articles and more.
For the latest issue Kris, Technical Director here at bimstore, has written a guest article on the impact of the Government BIM mandate which came into force this month, on April 4th. The feature takes a closer look at the requirements for Level 2 BIM and talks about how keeping up to date with a vastly changing and opinionated landscape can certainly cause some headaches!
There’s also a great case study about the Langham Hotel in London where Hamworthy Heating’s best-selling boiler, the Wessex ModuMax, has recently been installed in their rooftop plantroom to meet the 24/7 demands of the hotel’s heating and hot water.
The Wessex ModuMax is a compact and lightweight floor standing modular boiler range and the latest model released back in February 2016 features improvements such as 40⁰C differential temperature and enhanced built in Siemens controls for multiple boiler sequencing. You can download this popular BIM object below.
You can see the full range of Hamworthy Heating BIM objects on their bimstore profile page.
Aside from the bimstore cameo, there are also features about what the fifth carbon budget is really all about as well as an article about how heat networks are lowering the temperature.
Why not take a look for yourself - the Spring/Summer 2016 edition of Boiling Point is available to download now and you can view it by clicking right here!
