Check out the newest manufacturer arrival on bimstore
Here at bimstore, we’re starting off the week in our favourite way ever - with a new manufacturer joining the ranks. Say hello to Hush Acoustics.
Hush Acoustics are one of the UK's specialist manufacturer's for acoustic and soundproof materials and have been involved in the design and manufacturer of sound reducing products and systems for over 25 years – making them one of the longest established acoustic product specialists in the UK! Originally based in Scotland, Hush relocated to the North West of England in 1998 and have established a nationwide distribution network providing acoustic solutions for separating floors, ceilings and walls in both new build and refurbishment projects with all products and systems exceeding the requirements of UK Building Regulations.
Hush have nine new listings on bimstore including absorbers, ceiling wall and floor components, flanking strips, resilient bars, sound absorbing insulation as well as floor and wall systems.
One of the new product listings is for the Hush range of resilient bars. Hush-Bars are used to optimise acoustic performance by virtually decoupling the ceiling from the existing joists. They also significantly help to reduce airborne sound transmission, making them one of the best elements to use within a sound insulation system for separating ceilings or walls. The Revit download available onbimstore contains both the Hush-Bar and the Hush-Bar Deep in numerous lengths and are both available as elevations and profiles, depending on desired use.
