Silent Gliss: Where design meets performance

The design and demands of our living and working spaces continue to evolve at an ever-increasing pace. In response to this fast-changing landscape, Silent Gliss - a leading interior window treatment supplier, are pleased to present a new collection of timeless, high-performing fabrics. Offering a wide range of remarkable designs and textures, The Collection, which consists of 42 fabrics in over 380 colours, also considers sustainability, healthcare, acoustics, and light and energy management requirements.

The well-respected Colorama fabric, exclusive to Silent Gliss, has been extended from five to twelve qualities. Woven from the original Trevira CS yarn, this proven fabric has been developed to offer a broader range of design and performance attributes. The new Colorama Multicolour weaves multi-tonal yarns to deliver natural textures without compromising hanging performance. Also available as an acoustic yarn, it is equally suitable for residential and commercial interiors. Alongside the new Colorama Eco, made from pre-consumer waste, Bioactive and Dimout, the Colorama range goes from strength to strength.

In addition to Colorama, Silent Gliss' range of decorative fabrics has been extended to meet the needs of current design trends. Polyflax - a linen-look fabric without the challenges of linen. This specially developed polyester yarn delivers all the design benefits of a natural linen fabric but hangs beautifully. The lustrous Oscurante, with the same colour front and back, is perfect for room-darkening.

The needs of the healthcare sector are met with a range of antiviral fabrics washable at 72 degrees. In addition, they introduce Colorama Bioactive, an inherently antibacterial fabric and Valere, a dirt-repellent, bacteriostatic fabric with a fungicidal finish, ideal for use in treatment rooms and damp environments.

As the subject of light and energy management continues to dominate, Silent Gliss introduce Atracor, an outstanding screen fabric with a black core yarn which significantly reduces transmission levels, even with light colours. And, to complete the offer, they have extended Versascreen to four different openness factors (1/2/5/10%) for an even wider choice.

Silent Gliss' new online fabric-finder is an intuitive fabric search tool. Whether driven by design or function, the logical structure uses relevant criteria to compare and quickly drill down to specific fabrics and their associated documents and certificates.

Combined with their premium curtain track and blind systems, The Collection reinforces Silent Gliss as the leading supplier of complete, made-to-measure window treatments in the high-end residential and commercial market.
