The EBB Design extractor fan is suitable for WC, bathroom and kitchen applications where higher system resistance pressures are encountered. The fan incorporates a forward curved centrifugal impeller with single phase motor 230V-50Hz and Class || insulation.Maximum operating temperature 40 °C.
Key Features
Automatic Backdraught Shutter
EB Design is fitted with an automatic back draught shutter to prevent air entry and limit heat leakage when the extractor is not operating.
Forward Curved Centrifugal Impeller
To deliver high performance with a minimum noise level against high static pressure system resistance.
Centrifugal fans extract air at right angles to the intake of the fan, and spin the air outwards to the outlet by deflection and centrifugal force. The impeller rotates, causing air to enter the fan near the shaft and move perpendicularly from the shaft to the opening in the fan casing.
This allows the fan to produce more pressure for a given air volume, and is thus able to 'push' the extracted air along much longer duct runs.
Centrifugal fans are often seen in rooms which do not have exterior walls. Such rooms do not have windows or any natural ventilation and these circumstances usually require a long duct run to reach the outside of the building.
Humidity Sensor
Internal humidity sensor which automatically switches on the unit when the relative humidity rises above the selected set level; pullcord or remote switch.
Adjustable Run-On Timer
The 'run-on' time is adjustable and can be set between 5-30 minutes.
Multi Speed
The EBB 175 Design comes in both 1 and 2 speed versions. The 250 has a 3 speed motor.
Pullcord
Supplied with pullcord override.
