Mid Floor Housing (Cassette)

Description

Donaldson Timber Systems provides a wide range of loose joist floor solutions for domestic housing projects, without a compartment floor classification. Solutions include solid timber and I-beam joist formats. Joists are pre-designed and cut to length, banded and coded for easy assembly, as single components on site. This approach requires the use of a safety deck and flooring to be over clad and installed on site. This system suits projects with a slower build rate, where a forklift is being used or tight constrained site, where crane access is difficult.

Floors are open joist format, to allow access from underside for site fitting of services, insulation and ceiling plasterboard. Floors can be site insulated at header joists, wrapped edges for improved air-tightness detailing (if required) and pre-formed services holes for primary major service runs (where know and detailed early on).

• 30 and 60 min fire rated

• 220, 235 & 300mm Deep
• 6no. floor type variations in total.
