Description

Maccaferri Reno Mattresses Plus with X-Ties are units manufactured from double twisted hexagonal woven steel wire mesh with self-standing Ties and PoliMac® coating. The units are divided into uniformly portioned cells by internal double diaphragms. Reno Mattress Plus combines the structural benefit coming from the X-Ties, the durability of PoliMac® coating and the benefit of castor type mattress whose double diaphragms make installation operations much easier.

Named after one of the first interventions carried out by Maccaferri over 100 years ago, the Reno Mattress is now synonymous with hydraulic works and erosion protection projects worldwide. Reno mattresses Plus are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as river bank protection and channel linings for erosion control projects.
