DescriptionWinner of the 'Queen's Awards for Enterprise 2019' Innovation award, the HeightRider 28 (HR28) 4x4 is one of a new generation of environmentally conscious work platforms from Niftylift. Combining advanced power-source technology with efficient four-wheel-drive, it delivers outstanding performance from a compact and low-weight design. The HR28 is substantially lighter and more compact than its competitors and with a smaller tail swing. This coupled with its excellent manoeuvrability means that it can work in more locations than its larger rivals and can be transported more economically too. Better utilisation and lower transportation costs make the HR28 a more profitable machine to own and operate. Proportional controls deliver smooth, measured operation while 180º cage rotation and a 150º fly-boom allow precise positioning anywhere in its vast working envelope. Its revolutionary second-generation Hybrid power system incorporates a smaller, power-optimised EU Stage V compliant Diesel engine, supported by the machine's electric motor when extra power is needed. This maintains power and performance while reducing fuel consumption for maximum efficiency. The innovative 'Diesel Re-Gen' feature also recharges the batteries, giving a 'fast-charge' whenever the machine is idle and the engine running. In addition, an electric-only mode allows zero-emission operation, making it ideal for indoor use, or for quiet, clean operation. The HR28 4x4 also incorporates Niftylift's multi-award-winning SiOPS®, a safety system that eliminates sustained involuntary operation by instantly stopping machine movement if the operator is pushed onto the cage control console, allowing them to safely recover their situation. All HR28 4x4s manufactured since the first of January, 2020 are also fitted with Niftylink as standard. Niftylink is a powerful telematics tool that provides data insights on your Niftylift’s health, activity and location. These insights provide a better understanding of machine usage, performance and life-cycle, as well as real-time error-code reporting. By maximising machine ‘up-time’ and reducing lifetime running costs, Niftylink offers significant improvements in efficiency and profitability, helping you to get more from your Niftylift.
