Get to know: Crable

Created by the best British designers and engineers, using only the toughest materials, Crable charging shelves are the first integrated shelf that provides both power and light to keep customers fully charged and connected.

With a team of specialists in motor manufacturing and offshore drilling equipment, we’ve designed the first product of its kind built to withstand the most bustling, social environments.

We spoke with Crable's Director, William McClelland, to find out a little bit more.

What makes your products great?

Our charging shelves have been designed to benefit any commercial building, keeping staff, customers and visitors happy by providing a 'free fast charge' through wireless chargers and the ability to charge up to 8 appliances at once.

What projects are you currently working on?

We are about to start installation in our first UK hospital and continue to install in hospitality venues throughout the UK. 2022 is the year we will start installing throughout Europe.

Any clients or projects we might have heard about?

We work with NHS, BUPA and Greggs.

Why did you want to get into BIM?

Not everyone is fully aware of the benefits of providing wireless charging in their buildings. Getting in front of construction professionals is of paramount importance to us and there's no better introduction than through BIM.

Why did you choose bimstore?

We are a proud North-Eastern company with our roots deep in Newcastle. We are always happy to partner up with the best local organisations.

How has it been working with bimstore so far?

I'm really happy with the exposure we are getting. So far so good!
