Description

DOMOCOMPACT SERIES thermal modules act as an interface between the boiler and the consumer, performing temperature control and thermal energy metering functions. They are supplied by centralised primary fluid and provide the same independent operation and control as an independent heating system. DOMOCOMPACT Series modules control the flow of fluid to the consumer using an ON/OFF zone actuator electrically connected to a programmable thermostat located in the consumer’s control room. When heat is required, the flow of operating fluid is conveyed to the heating system at a rate set by an appropriate control device and measured by a volumetric flow meter on the return line. The thermal energy metering system (in accordance with MID 2014/32/EU) also comprises two flow/return temperature sensors and an electronic panel, which makes it possible to subsequently allocate costs on the basis of actual consumption. The reading of individual user data/consumption can also be easily concentrated, transmitted and processed remotely. If there is no demand for heat, the fluid is returned to the primary circuit by means of a bypass valve, set in such a way as not to affect the other consumers.

DOMOCOMPACT series modules can be used together in different configurations and, in addition to the heating/cooling section, they can accommodate up to a maximum of three additional, independent sections for the supply of domestic hot and cold water and a third branch for dual water. When a tap is turned on, the supply of hot and cold mains and dual water is metered by a volumetric flow meter and recorded on the electronic panel. The head connections of each section are fitted with ball valves so that the unit can be shut off if necessary. The same module can be used in different installation configurations (left/right primary fluid inlet, vertical/horizontal orientation).

DOMOCOMPACT Series modules can be fitted into a small space because they are extremely compact. They are factory-assembled and individually tested to ensure that they are water-tight. Thanks to their highly advanced construction technology, the same module can be used in different installation configurations (left/right primary fluid inlet, vertical/horizontal orientation).
